On Sunday, April 27, the city came alive for one of its most beloved annual events—the Vancouver Sun Run 2025—and we were right there in the heart of it. Among the thousands who flooded downtown Vancouver with energy and excitement, our group of about 20 showed up early, ready to step out of our comfort zones and take on the challenge together.

On Our Way to the Starting Point!!!
At the Starting Point! Look at that Sea of People! Wow, 47,000 Participants!
And what a day it turned out to be!
The weather couldn’t have been better—clear skies, a cool breeze, and that unmistakable spring sunshine that makes you feel like anything is possible. From the moment we gathered at the start line, there was a sense of camaraderie and purpose. Whether it was your first 10K or your tenth, everyone was there for the same reason: to move forward, physically and mentally.
Some runners, like Roger, had already finished by the time we reached the start line!
Our group had it all—walkers, joggers, runners, and even a stroller tagging along for the ride. It was a beautiful mix of paces and personalities, each one bringing their own energy and motivation to the road. And while we all had different finishing times, there was one clear consensus: it was a fantastic experience.
The Beautiful Sights Along The Way!
There’s something uniquely uplifting about being surrounded by people cheering each other on, strangers high-fiving mid-race, and the shared sense of achievement that lingers long after the finish line. That’s the spirit of the Sun Run—and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year!
Almost There And…At the Finish Line—10KM Done, Woohoo!
To everyone who joined in—thank you. For those thinking about it next time—this is your sign. Step out, lace up, and come run (or walk!) with us.
Until next year, Sun Runners!
