Brent is the owner and visionary leader behind INS Claims Services Inc., he prides himself on integrity and big picture thinking. He is an Independent Adjuster responsible for investigation, negotiation and settlement of a diverse portfolio of claims. With over three decades of combined experience with one of British Columbia’s largest insurance companies and a law enforcement background, Brent utilizes his skills and training to promptly deliver fair results. With a deep understanding of the sensitivity and complexity of the cases, Brent went on to become a Level 3 Independent Adjuster to better service his clients needs.
Brent believes in empowering his team, playing to their strengths and is an advocate for inclusive and supportive company culture, it is all about teamwork.
When not travelling, he takes great enjoyment in competing in local half marathons, going on hikes and cycling with his lovely wife.

Keeley is an exceptionally intuitive Customer Service Specialist. She takes great satisfaction in exceeding client needs and delivering top notch communication between INS Claims Services team members.
Keeley has her Bachelor’s of Education with 30+ years teaching in the Surrey School District and has obtained her Level 1 Independent Adjuster Certificate.
Keeley has a passion for learning, health and fitness. She is in her happy place pushing the limits circuit training, pursuing half marathons and running the trails with her husband Brent.

Wendy is an Independent Adjuster with INS Claims Services Inc., where she is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. With over 20 years of claims handling and management experience in one of British Columbia's largest insurance companies, Wendy is confident in her role of investigating, negotiating and settling claims.
Wendy also has a background in Early Childhood Education and Financial Advising. Her passion has always been working with people. This makes Wendy a perfect fit for INS Claims Services Inc., as her superior interpersonal skills allow her to be empathetic and truly trusted.
Wendy spends her leisure time entertaining and socializing with family and friends, trying new restaurants and travelling. Wendy has plans to travel Europe with her husband in the near future. Wendy is so proud of her two beautiful and accomplished children.

Zach is an Independent Adjuster at INS Claims Services Inc. and is currently in the midst of completing his Chartered Insurance professional (CIP) designation. As a graduate of the GEI program, Zach has found a career in claims adjusting and is working towards increasing his knowledge base and expertise in claims handling.
Zach began his working career early in construction. Having worked in multiple trades for many years such as (Plumbing, Tile-Stone, Masonry and Electrical), so Zach has a good understanding of construction and related safety codes.
Zach later had an opportunity to pursue another career that he has always been passionate and interested about, in the Natural Health Product industry. He started working in a retail supplement store and over the years graduated to the General Manager for a chain of 3 retail stores in Vancouver, BC. As a result, Zach has a firm understanding of the need to provide a high level of customer service, being thorough with a sharp eye for attention to detail and dedicated to ensuring his clients needs are met on every claim he is assigned. Zach truly enjoys interacting with people and resolving complex issues.
Zach enjoys physical exercise and when not working on advancing his career, Zach likes to spend time his wife doing what they both enjoy most, being in the outdoors; hiking, backpacking, paddling, camping, fishing and hunting. Zach also has traveled extensively and enjoys cooking and challenging himself in the kitchen.

Denis is another member of the INS Claims Services Inc. team who is truly committed to delivering exceptional customer service. Denis has over 30 years of claims handling and management experience. He has always gravitated towards large and complex losses due to his detail oriented nature. Denis is extremely experienced in interpreting complex policy wordings as well as procedures and government statutes.
Denis also has extensive claims management and independent adjusting experience. For part of his career, Denis managed a team that was assigned complex, litigated commercial and environmental losses. These losses frequently exceeded seven figures. He and his team concluded these high-risk losses with ease. In addition, he also managed a group of examiners who dealt with high risk, litigated bodily injury caseloads in the seven figure realm. Denis is a confident and seasoned independent adjuster who is comfortable taking on a wide variety of claim types.
Denis has such compassion for people and spends a great deal of his time volunteering at various Lower Mainland charities. With Denis' extensive claims knowledge coupled with his personality and good nature he is a perfect fit for the INS Claims Team. Denis spends his leisure time playing sports, socializing with family and friends and travelling.

Brenna is an Independent Adjuster with INS Claims Services Inc., who is currently in the midst of completing her Chartered Insurance (CIP) designation. Brenna has a "can do" attitude in every task she undertakes.
As a graduate of the GIE program, Brenna has found a career in claims adjusting that truly speaks to her. She has gained her claims experience through working with some of the most seasoned professionals in the adjusting business. Brenna has handled a variety of claims and continues to expand her claims knowledge. She has received accolades for her work from referring adjusters and brokers alike. Brenna has gained in-depth computer skills to assist working in a fast paced environment. She is very comfortable interacting with people and embraces new challenges and experiences. Her background has given her the knowledge and experience to complete files thoroughly, efficiently and accurately.
When not working on advancing her career, Brenna enjoys travelling. Her love of travel and adventure has given her the ability to adapt to unexpected change. Brenna also rises to the challenge of dealing with stressful situations as they present themselves.

Bruce is now an Independent Adjuster with INS Claims Services Inc., after having moved from a large Insurer in British Columbia. Bruce has 30 years of claims handling experience and throughout his career he has gravitated towards large and complex losses. Bruce is comfortable investigating, negotiating and settling these loss types. Bruce has rounded out his claims expertise with recent claims management experience.
Bruce has always been a team player and has taken on the lead role of organizing numerous functions in order to increase coworkers' engagement. Not only is Bruce a claims expert, but he believes that a positive work and team environment increases performance. Since this is one of INS Claims' core values, Bruce is a perfect fit for our team.
In his spare time, Bruce enjoys playing hockey, socializing with friends and spending time with his son and daughter.

Deanna is a highly qualified Independent Adjuster who is now working with INS Claims Inc. Deanna enjoys working with people and has a reputation of going the extra mile utilizing an organized and informed approach to resolve issues and settle claims. With over 26 years of claims adjusting and management experience, she is a well-rounded and experienced adjuster who takes her position seriously. Deanna is by nature friendly and approachable and makes every attempt to deliver customer service excellence on every claim she is assigned. Deanna believes in the importance of teamwork and frequently works with others on our team to ensure she delivers an informed, accurate and consistent product. She contributes greatly the positive INS Claims atmosphere and work environment. Deanna believes in the importance of staying fit and is a certified personal trainer. She is also a CrossFit coach and can frequently be found working out or coaching in one of their local gyms.

Peter is a highly qualified Independent Adjuster who is now working with INS Claims Services after a 30 year career with a large insurer in British Columbia. During his claims career Peter became an expert in handling litigated and non-litigated injury claims while working in various adjusting roles, dispute resolution roles and as a manager leading both non-litigated and litigated injury teams. Peter is well versed in the end to end process of claims handling, including in civil law, liability, dispute resolution mediation, and is confident in the investigation, negotiation and settlement of complex losses. Peter enjoys working with others and is a team player. He brings professionalism, honesty and fairness along with a solution based positive attitude and when appropriate, a great sense of humor. Peter enjoys spending time with his family and travelling in his spare time. Peter also enjoys playing hockey on his senior men's team.

Glen is a highly qualified and knowledgeable Independent Adjuster with INS Claims Services. Glen is a well-known and highly respected adjuster and investigator by both SIU (Special Investigation Unit) Officers and police investigators in the Law Enforcement community. len has a passion for investigating difficult and suspicious claims and has spent 30 years honing his skills. Glen spent the last 25 years assigned to the largest SIU Department in British Columbia where he focused on the most difficult and challenging fraudulent investigations across the province. Glen has been called to lecture and train adjusters and police investigators on claims investigation techniques in both Canada and the United States. Glen has extensive experience in dealing with organized groups who systematically defraud insurers. In his spare time, Glen is passionate about coaching in a Lower Mainland competitive softball league with teams competing at National levels. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and two lovely daughters and their families. His newest and most favourite adventure yet has been becoming a grandfather.

Michelle is a highly qualified Independent Adjuster and we're please she chose INS Claims Services Inc. With over 20 years of claims experience with a large insurer, she has successfully investigated, negotiated and settled a wide range of claims including complex litigated bodily injury and high-risk losses.
Michelle is confident in all aspects of claims including taking witness statements, resolving liability and conducting collateral investigations for approaching injury trials. She is a dedicated and proactive adjuster whose approach is to always deliver excellent customer service. By promptly connecting with her customers, she can quickly assess their needs and take the appropriate action to resolve issues and address concerns while putting her customers at ease with her friendly approach.
Michelle resides on the Sunshine Coast where she enjoys kayaking, paddle boarding and walking the numerous local trails with her two dogs. She shares a passion for travel with her husband and daughter having toured Europe, the Mediterranean and Baltic regions, Mexico, and Central America.

Dee is an extremely experienced Independent Adjuster who joined INS Claims after leaving a large BC Insurer. Dee has worked for over 3 decades in the insurance industry and has exposure to all facets of claims adjusting and management. She worked her way through the ranks of a large insurer, and while doing so she increased her claims skills, knowledge and abilities every step of the way.
Dee has always enjoyed working with people and excels in building relationships quickly. She is known for always going the extra mile to resolve issues and settle claims fairly. She has a great sense of humor and has the ability to quickly put customers at ease with her easy-going approach. Over the years Dee has made many long-term friends and contacts with those she's met in the industry. She has mentored numerous adjusters during her tenure in the business, and she's widely known for her excellent customer service skills and her ability to gather information and resolve claims related issues.
Dee resides in the Southern Interior and enjoys spending time with family and friends working on her acreage, riding her Harley, travelling, camping, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and anything else this wonderful province has to offer.

Sandra is an Independent Adjuster with INS Claims Inc. who has extensive administration background and claims experience. Sandra worked in the Claims Division of a major insurer for approximately 30 years. For 10 years Sandra worked for the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) as a research assistant. This unit was responsible for identifying and investigating fraudulent claims brought against the insurer. While in SIU Sandra’s responsibilities focused on assisting SIU officers on their many investigations. A great deal of her time was spent conducting social media research on claimants and their related associates and businesses.
Sandra was then promoted to a supervisor position where she trained and assisted claims staff on any number of issues that were identified. She then moved to an adjusting position where she rounded out her career before becoming an Independent Adjuster.
Sandra believes in respect for her customers and coworkers and she constantly searches for ways to exceed their expectations. She is friendly and approachable by nature and gets satisfaction through assisting others. By doing so she has built lifelong relationships with her understanding and delivering of excellent customer service at every opportunity. Sandra enjoys spending time with her friends and family and has done extensive travelling and will continue to do so.

Chris is a highly qualified and respected Independent Adjuster with approximately 30 years of claims experience. Chris gained his extensive experience by working in a variety of departments within the Claims Division as well as being an Independent Adjuster for the past 2 years.
Chris always had a passion to investigate difficult and suspicious claims. For 16 years, he was a key piece of the largest SIU (Special Investigation Unit) in British Columbia. It was there that Chris honed his investigative and interviewing skills. Due to his vast expertise, Chris has been called on numerous times to present on investigations he resolved. In the past, Chris was called upon to train claims staff on red-flags or fraud indicators. His experience in SIU has also afforded Chris the ability to develop contacts in both the claims and policing communities. Chris is frequently called on by senior adjusting staff and defense counsel to take on difficult and suspicious claims.
Chris has a distinguished wrestling career; In fact, he was considered one of the top wrestlers in the world during the peak of his career. Chris went on to win numerous wrestling events with the most notable being the Bronze medal at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, a truly amazing accomplishment! In his spare time Chris can be found at the golf course or volunteering his time coaching aspiring wrestlers.

Michael is a highly qualified and respected Independent Adjuster with over 22 years of claims experience who has been handling highly complex and litigated claims for over 10 years. Michael gladly accepts a challenge to take on the most difficult claims.
Throughout his career Michael has enjoyed assisting customers and coworkers. He has received numerous accolades from those he has interacted with due to his fair, caring and respectful manner. Prior to joining INS Claims Michael worked for a large insurer where he was well respected by his peers and management alike. He eagerly took on a mentoring role to ensure the success of others in his office.
Michael is a true team player who has a great sense of humour and caring personality. These traits, coupled with a strong work ethic and knowledge base make him an excellent independent adjuster. In his spare time Michael enjoys spending time with his family.

Bob entered the insurance industry in 1993 where he spent the first 23 years of his career with ICBC in their Claims Division. He worked in various claims roles and eventually became a Unit Manager. During his tenure at ICBC Bob obtained his AIIC (CIP) designation.
In 2019, Bob moved into private insurance by joining a large independent adjusting firm where he handled property damage, liability, burglary and other losses. Bob specializes in litigated injury claims and has an extensive background in mediations, collateral investigations and Supreme Court and Provincial Court actions. Bob is a customer service driven individual and always ensures his customers are a top priority.
Bob likes to keep active in his spare time by playing golf and tennis and enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Theresa is a highly qualified Independent Adjuster, and we are fortunate that she chose to join the INS Claims Services Team. Theresa comes to us with over 23 years of experience in the insurance industry. She gained her extensive adjusting experience while working for a large BC insurer for 15 years. She then moved to an Insurance Broker firm where she spent an additional 8 years. Her exposure to the adjusting and broker roles has given her a rounded background in the investigation, negotiation, and settlement of claims as well as policy interpretation.
Theresa by nature is friendly and approachable and enjoys meeting with her claimants to resolve issues and answer any questions they may have while making superior customer service a priority. Theresa is confident in all aspects of claim adjusting including confirming coverage, resolving liability, taking detailed statements and negotiating settlements. Theresa always ensures her claimants; the broker and the insurer are kept current on her progress and maintain clear communication between all parties.
Theresa resides on Salt Spring Island where she enjoys all of the outdoor activities including paddle boarding and gardening.

Marine Surveyor/Claims Adjuster
Ben is a highly qualified Marine Surveyor/Claims Adjuster, and we are fortunate that he chose to join the INS Claims Services Team. He speaks fluent Punjabi and Hindi.
Ben has always enjoyed working close to the sea and it’s here where he feels most comfortable. Ben served for 15 years in the Indian Navy where he was trained in ship construction and naval architecture. He was responsible for ship maintenance of Hull and associated machinery, fittings, and equipment systems on Naval Ships. After leaving the navy Ben went on to become a Marine Surveyor and Loss Assessor (adjuster) in India for six years where he adjusted marine losses, property damage and flood claims, Hull damage claims, cargo claims and a host of other insured losses.
Ben immigrated to Canada and for the last 13 years he worked for three large independent firms where he specialized in marine cargo damage claims, out-turn surveys, discharge/delivery, pre-insurance surveys and project cargo surveys as well as Hull / Machinery damage claims to small crafts / boats. During his tenure with these firms, he also had a great deal of exposure in adjusting trucking cargo claims as well as various types of property losses, bodily injury and automobile subrogation claims. Over the years as a Marine Surveyor, Ben has amassed a large number of contacts to assist in the recovery and sale of distressed cargo in order to maximize salvage return.
Ben is friendly and outgoing by nature and has an easy-going attitude which puts claimants at ease. He always ensures he delivers superior customer service and makes it his top priority. Ben is quite musical and in his spare time Ben enjoys playing musical instruments and singing.

Lynne is an Independent Adjuster with INS Claims Services. With over 30 years of claims experience where she handled a variety of complex losses, Lynne is a true claims handling expert. She takes pride in her work, she’s highly organized and detail oriented and builds a strong rapport with her claimants, insurers as well as her teammates.
Because of Lynne’s claims expertise and her desire to help others, she moved into a training role. There she developed training material that was current and informative which addressed current issues and trends. Over several years she updated and delivered her material to loss adjusters and managers who were quick to praise her.
Lynne by nature is outgoing, friendly, and approachable. She enjoys meeting with those related to the claims she is handling and delivers superior customer service. Lynne has made many long-term friends and contacts in the insurance industry. She has mentored numerous adjusters and she’s known for her friendly nature, her dedication as well as her extensive claims knowledge.
Lynne resides in the Okanagan Valley and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
 
Brad Craig
BRAD CRAIG
With over 30 years of claims experience Brad is a highly qualified, respected, and knowledgeable Independent Adjuster at INS Claims Services. Brad has extensive experience in automobile claims where he began adjusting liability, theft, fire and all aspects of material damage claims. From there he progressed up to more difficult injury claims handling, focusing on claims that required more detailed investigations due to potential fraud and exaggeration found in some instances.
Because of his passion for investigating difficult claims, he worked his way to up through the ranks and joined one of the largest Special Investigation Units (SIU) in Canada. There, Brad honed his investigative skills, first as and SIU Investigator and then into an SIU Officer role with Peace Officer Status. He then moved into SIU management where he handled a team of Officers who investigated the most difficult claims. In total Brad spent over 22 years investigating fraudulent claims across British Columbia.
During his career Brad has mentored SIU Officers and trained adjusters in claim investigation techniques. Brad has a reputation as being fair and putting those he interacts with at ease with his calm and easygoing demeanor. With Brad, customer service is always a key priority and he’s quick to respond to customer needs, answer questions and resolve issues.
In his spare time Brad enjoys playing hockey, travelling, and spending time with his family.
 
Roger Sharma

ROGER SHARMA, B.A.Sc
Roger is a highly qualified Independent Adjuster, and we are fortunate that he chose to join the INS Claims Services Team. Roger is well educated with a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree from Simon Fraser University, and he is fluent in English and Hindi and has an excellent working knowledge of Punjabi.
Roger comes to us with over 32 years of claims adjusting and insurance related experience. He gained his extensive claims adjusting knowledge while working for a large BC insurer for 13.5 years, before transferring to WorkSafeBC, where he worked for 18.5 years, which ended in May 2022.
While at WorkSafeBC, Roger was a Review Officer, where he reviewed various types of work claims related injury disputes throughout his tenure. He conducted in-depth claims investigations and analyzed medical and wage loss reports in order to make evidence-based decisions, while applying current case law and legislated policies. He also completed comprehensive appeal decisions, conducted oral inquires with worker’s, employers, representatives, and physicians to gain a comprehensive understanding of the issues in dispute to reach a fair settlement and to provide excellence in customer service.
Roger has an outgoing personality and is friendly and approachable by nature. He enjoys meeting with his claimants to answer any questions they have and resolve issues as they come up, while effectively gathering information to reach a settlement. Roger is a people person. Roger enjoys meeting and working with people from all backgrounds. He takes fitness seriously, by running, skiing, and cycling on a regular basis. He was a youth soccer coach for NVFC for over a decade, and continues to coach and play soccer for an adult league. In his spare time Roger enjoys travelling and spending time with his family.
 
Debra Munro

Debra is a highly qualified Independent Adjuster with INS Claims Services after completing a 40- year career with a large insurer in British Columbia.
During her career Debra worked in a variety of roles in the Claims Division, but always gravitated toward large and complex losses. Given her depth of knowledge, Debra spent the last 15 years in Management overseeing these losses and providing direction to her high-risk team.
Debra is confident and experienced in all aspects of claims adjusting including taking statements, negotiating settlements, conducting thorough liability investigations. By nature, Debra is described as a people person. She is approachable, a true team player, she has an excellent sense of humor and is fair and caring. Debra connects easily with claimants and coworkers and always ensures she delivers the best customer service possible. These traits, coupled with her strong work ethic and knowledge base, make her an excellent Independent Adjuster.
Debra is well known and respected in the insurance industry, and we are so pleased to have her on our team. In her spare time Debra enjoys spending time with her family and assisting her husband with his bee pollination business. She is also actively involved volunteering with Surrey Special Olympics.

With over 30 years of claims experience Chris is a highly qualified and respected Independent Adjuster. He gained his experience by working in a variety of departments within the Claims department and through courses and training.
Chris is well educated and has a Degree in Communications from SFU, as well as his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Global Risk Management (CRM) designations. Chris is a strong believer in delivering excellent customer service and ensures he works closely with all those impacted by the claims assigned to him.
Chris has a passion for investigating difficult and suspicious claims and has spent over 30 years honing his skills in this area. He spent over 20 years assigned to the largest Special Investigation Unit (SIU) in British Columbia where focused on the most difficult and challenging fraudulent investigations across the province. He is an expert in taking statements, collecting evidence, and obtaining the details required to make critical claims decisions. He has delivered training to claims staff on how to identify red-flags, or fraudulent indicators. His experience in SIU has also afforded Chris the opportunity to develop contacts in both the policing and claims community.

ROD KELENY

ROD KELENY
Rod has worked over 30 years in ICBC's Claims Division. He was an estimator and supervisor in the Material Damage Department before moving into management in 2001. Rod has managed all over the lower mainland in various Claim Centers, Driver Licensing, Subrogation Department and Out of Province Claims. Prior to leaving ICBC Rod was a manager in Account Services for 3 years where he continued to build positive relationships with industry. Rod has built and maintained great relationships within ICBC and industry throughout his career.
Rod has participated in many complex and litigated claims during his career with ICBC and he has been deemed an expert witness in court when giving evidence during several trials. Rod has worked with closely with estimators, adjusters, BI adjusters, Examiners, Claims managers and SIU staff/managers and external customers and business partners, providing direction on claims related matters. Rod was required to have in-depth knowledge and experience investigating, negotiating, and settling claims. Rod has firsthand experience performing in all these areas along with the benefit of assessing and evaluating claims files since the early 1990s.
All the positions Rod held during his career have been customer facing. He enjoys interacting with customers and takes the time that is required to ensure customers feel at ease and are fully informed. He has built may positive relationships with coworkers and customers over the years with his natural ability to engage with others.
Rod has a great sense of humor but also takes his job seriously. His positive work ethic along with making his customers a priority has allowed him to be an excellent independent adjuster. In his spare time Rod enjoys spending time with his family and travelling.

GRANT HILL
Grant is a highly qualified Independent Adjuster who is now working with the INS Claims Services Team after a 40-year career with a large insurer in British Columbia.
Throughout his career Grant has always gravitated towards handling the most complex and high-risk claims. In fact, Grant spent the majority of his career in Head Office Claims as an Examiner then became a Manager in that department managing a team who handled both in Province and Out of Province large loss claims.
Grant is well versed in the end-to-end process of claims handling and is a liability, coverage and reinsurance expert. Grant also has experience with lawsuits against insurers and class actions. Throughout his career Grant has always enjoyed assisting customers and coworkers. He has received numerous accolades from those he has interacted with and is highly respected by his peers and upper management.
Grant has always taken his position seriously and has a passion for doing an excellent job and he is a team player who brings professionalism, honesty, and fairness to the claims handling process. Grant also has a great sense of humor which puts customers at ease.
Grant is located in Peachland where he enjoys boating, fishing and hiking with his wife and dog. He also travels extensively with a recent trip to the 7th continent, Antarctica.
