Ed is a highly qualified Independent Adjuster with INS Claims Services who has the ability to speak conversational Cantonese. Ed has had the opportunity to work for several large and well-known insurers over his 14-year long career. For several years Ed adjusted front line claims where he gained expertise in the investigation, negotiation and settlement of a variety of claim types. He then moved into management positions where he mentored numerous adjusters with large and complex caseloads.

Ed enjoys a challenge which allowed him to move into different opportunities with several companies giving him exposure to a variety of claims. He is confident in his role of investigating, evaluating and settling claims and always ensures delivering excellent customer service is his priority. Ed has experience in working with claims involving injuries from motor vehicle accidents as well as return to work focused disability management assisting those with physical and mental health concerns. On a more global customer service level, he has created and implemented strategies to improve customer and client satisfaction.

Ed is always respectful of his claimants and the various situations they find themselves in. He goes to great lengths to build a positive relationship, understand their needs, and exceed their expectations. Ed’s easy-going manner quickly puts customers at ease creating a more pleasurable experience for everyone involved during a difficult time.

Ed is a team player and is the first to offer a hand to assist other team members. He brings an infectious positive attitude that is appreciated by everyone on the team.

In his spare time Ed enjoys sports and played in a Lower Mainland hockey league both between the pipes and as a forward. Ed also enjoys golfing, spending time with friends and family and travelling.
